Why Should You Change to Synthetic Motor Oils?

More new car manufacturers require synthetic motor oils today than ever before. The change in attitude by manufacturers is not the result of some new-found synthetic oil technology or formula; it is the result of education and test findings. Older car owners are gradually moving toward using synthetic oils as well.

Test results by various foundations and motor enthusiast’s organizations have shown the benefits of synthetic oils over conventional oils for over three decades. Change is difficult, but change is here. With the inclusion of more sensitive parts in engines, car manufacturers have changed their attitude about synthetic oil and are now requiring synthetic oil use in their vehicles as a warranty issue. Motorist’s with older cars have discovered that using synthetic oil ameliorates the sound of piston clanking.

At our oil service facility in Schererville, we can switch you to synthetic oil during an oil change.
